A More Personalized Path to Better Metabolic Health
Many patients come to us after years of conflicting advice, short appointments, and plans that never addressed the root cause of chronic disease.
Our program is designed for people who want more than a generic, template-based program. We take time to understand your health history, symptoms, medications, previous lab work, food preferences, schedule, and goals, then build a plan that is clinically grounded and realistic to follow.
Some patients work mainly with a nutritionist or registered dietitian. Others may also benefit from physician or naturopathic doctor involvement. The level of support depends on your needs.
We use nutrition, meal timing, behavior change, sleep, stress support, and medical oversight when appropriate to help improve weight-related and metabolic conditions over time.
Who We Commonly Help
Patients commonly contact us for support with:
- Medically supervised weight loss
- Prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, and insulin resistance
- PCOS and hormonal weight gain
- Fatty liver, high triglycerides, and high blood pressure
- Metabolic syndrome and chronic inflammation
- Digestive or hormonal issues that may interfere with progress
- Long-term chronic disease prevention
- Medication reduction support when clinically appropriate
Not everyone joins because they want to lose weight. Many patients come for better glucose control, improved energy, fewer symptoms, better lab markers, and a clearer long-term plan.

Personalized Nutrition, Built on Real Food
We believe metabolic care starts with real food.
That does not mean giving every patient the same meal template. It means building a nutrition strategy around your biology and your real life. Depending on your needs, your plan may include lower-carbohydrate or low-glycemic nutrition, Mediterranean-style eating, meal timing strategies, or intermittent fasting when appropriate.
Every plan is tailored to your history, lab work, medications, safety needs, and day-to-day reality.
We help patients move away from highly processed foods, confusing diet trends, and one-size-fits-all advice, and toward a more sustainable way of eating that supports better metabolic health.
Why Patients Choose Weight2Lose
Lifestyle-first, not prescription-first
We focus first on nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and the drivers behind weight and metabolic problems. Medications, including semaglutide when appropriate, are considered only when medically necessary and within a broader care plan.
Lab-informed personalization
We use existing blood work and, when appropriate, additional lab review to help align nutrition and care recommendations with your physiology.
Structured follow-up and accountability
This is not a one-time consult. Patients receive structured follow-up, plan adjustments, and written resources that evolve with progress.
Multidisciplinary support when needed
Your care may involve a nutritionist, registered dietitian, naturopathic doctor, or physician, depending on your goals, symptoms, and clinical needs.

How the Program Works
Start with a free consultation
We learn about your goals, health background, and what kind of support you may need.
Complete a personalized intake
Most initial consultations are approximately 90 minutes, allowing time for a thorough review of your history, symptoms, diet patterns, lab work, medications, and goals.
Follow a tailored plan
Follow-up visits are typically 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the practitioner and level of support required. You receive personalized nutrition guidance, written resources, structured follow-up, and ongoing adjustments based on your progress.
What Makes the Experience Different
We are not a generic wellness brand, a meal replacement funnel, or a medication-only program.
Weight2Lose Medical Clinics offers a more thoughtful, medically credible, and personalized path to better metabolic health. Some patients need focused nutrition support. Others need broader multidisciplinary care. Our care remains human-led, with carefully selected AI-supported tools used behind the scenes to strengthen education, personalization, and follow-up.

A Note for Toronto Metabolic Clinic Patients and Referring Clinics
In 2024, patient care from Toronto Metabolic Clinic transitioned to Weight2Lose Medical Clinics. Toronto Metabolic Clinic was co-founded by Dr. Jason Fung, who is not currently available for consultation in this program. Several former team members continue to be involved in patient care through our expanded multidisciplinary model. Former Toronto Metabolic Clinic patients, referring clinics, and new patients seeking intermittent fasting or broader metabolic health support can access care through the current Weight2Lose program.

Most program options are private pay and are not generally covered by OHIP. Programs typically range from approximately $150 to $450 per month, depending on the level of support and services included. Eligible nutritionist, registered dietitian, and naturopathic doctor services may be reimbursable through extended health benefits, and some employer wellness subsidies or health spending accounts may also help cover eligible care.
